Baku weather forecast: temperature rises over the weekend, strong wind

Next weekend, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix is finally scheduled after a four-week break. The first spint weekend of 2023 looks set to remain dry, according to Weather.com, but the wind will be strong in Baku.

Mostly sunny weather is expected in Azerbaijan's capital on Friday, although this will be the coolest day of the weekend. It will not get warmer than 21 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, winds of 26 kilometres per hour are expected from the south, which could make qualifying difficult for the drivers.

There will be similar conditions on Saturday and Sunday. There will be slightly more clouds than on Friday and the temperature rises to around 25 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, the wind will still remain brisk from the south. Some showers will fall on Sunday evening, but this seems too late to make the main race more challenging.
