There have been five races in the 2023 F1 season. Four times it was a one-two for Red Bull Racing and the one time Sergio Pérez failed to make the podium, Max Verstappen did manage to win; five out of five for Red Bull. It is up to Charles Leclerc to make the season exciting again.

He is more or less asked that during the FIA press conference for the GP weekend in Miami. Leclerc is asked whether American fans will be bored by the repetitively dominant weekends of just one team. Leclerc: "I'll do my best not to make it boring. At the end it's a sport and you also need to."

Leclerc takes on difficult task

The Ferrari driver continued: "I think it's like in every sport, sometimes a team is just better than others. As of the moment, is the case with Red Bull, we are working flat out like everybody I think here is working flat out to try and recover the gap to the Red Bulls." On Saturdays, Leclerc sees opportunities. He has only shown in the last few races that he has to work hard for it during qualifying. In Miami, that went wrong with a crash.

Leclerc: "I think on one lap, we can maybe challenge them and the race is going to be more difficult but if there's an opportunity, I'll do my best to make it more exciting."
