Ricciardo becomes presenter: 'We're going to have fun, and so are the viewers'
Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull Racing will co-host a television broadcast during three Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2023. Ricciardo and Will Arnett will host alternating F1 broadcasts on ESPN. Ricciardo will co-host 'The Grandstand with Daniel Ricciardo and Will Arnett' with actor and comedian Will Arnett.
The first broadcast will be during the Canadian Grand Prix. The broadcast, which will air in the US on ESPN2, will feature guests commentating and giving talks during the grands prix, ESPN itself reported.
Ricciardo makes debut in Canada
For the upcoming episode during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend, Ricciardo will be on location at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, with Arnett watching from a distance. Ricciardo interviewing former colleagues can obviously make for hilarious footage.
Besides presenting in Canada, the Australian will also be presenting at the races in Las Vegas and in Austin. The debut episode of 'The Grandstand with Daniel Ricciardo and Will Arnett' will air on 18 June. So that's on the same day as the race.
