Perez and Albon to report to stewards
Alexander Albon did not score any points in the Singapore Grand Prix due to a mistake in the closing stages, and Sergio Perez grabbed P8 despite a very tough weekend. However, the day is just not over yet for the Williams and Red Bull Racing driver. Both have been summoned by race control.
Perez and Albon to report to FIA
Both Perez and Albon are expected to report to the stewards along with another representative of the teams. During the race, the FIA already wrote that the incident between the two drivers would be investigated after the race. That will now happen, and the drivers will have to make a statement.
It involves two incidents. The first case is that Albon may have overtaken Perez under the Virtual Safety Car. The second case is a collision that occurred when Perez overtook the Williams driver at turn 13. The direction showed no footage or replay of the incident at the time. In the closing stages, a fantastic battle for victory between the front four took place.
