Mercedes loses out to Aston Martin on the football pitch
While Aston Martin have been losing out to the Mercedes team at the Grands Prix for now, there has been success off the track. On Wednesday evening, several team members from both teams played a football match against each other. The match was all for charity, with Aston Martin coming out on top, beating the German racing team in a match full of goals.
Benefit match between Mercedes and Aston Martin
Mercedes and Aston Martin also made a move onto the sports field. The teams played a football match entirely dedicated to charity. Mercedes played for Mind, an organisation that actively supports people with mental health problems. The charity Aston Martin chose to play for was the Silverstone Recreational Association.
On X (formerly Twitter), Aston Martin shared the result of the charity match. In a goal-rich match, the Aston Martin employees won 5-4.
