A major chaos at the
Interlagos circuit in Brazil: in no time, the sky has turned pitch black on and around the track, while rain is pouring down. The
FIA and
Formula 1 are currently labelling the situation as so dangerous that all mechanics have had to leave their pit boxes.
So at the moment, no work is allowed on the cars, which have now been left in the garages. If this is all going to take a long time, there is the next problem: curfew. The teams will not be allowed to tinker with the cars from a certain time, until the following day in the morning. It is unknown whether the start of the curfew will be rescheduled.
Team members are sheltering in their hospitality units, as are the media. The press conference with
Max Verstappen,
Charles Leclerc and surprise number three
Lance Stroll did start.
