Hamilton knows about this scandal like Verstappen knew about that talk between Masi and Jonathan Wheatley in Abu Dhabi 2021..

Supporting your team boss is the right thing to do and is expected of you. But please lewis don't pull a spygate again and mislead the FIA if they ask you any questions.

Was LH aware of Spygate Meneer ? I seem to recall he was kept in the dark about it because Alonso was looking for an advantage over LH via using information from Ferrari, De la Rosa, Mike Coughlin and Nigel Stepney, so it was proven that he was an innocent or have I got that wrong ?

If Alonso knew then Lewis must've known. However, even if he knew, it's reasonable to expect Lewis wouldn't snitch on his team, especially when Ron Dennis offered him so much and supported him to the degree he did. I know I wouldn't.

Part of an article from the SportsManor website 'The Spygate scandal came around in 2007 when Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso were teammates. Although it’s important to note they were unaware of what was really going on behind their backs.' This article implies neither of them knew although I recall emails from Alonso to PDLR about settings on 'the Red Car' suggested he was aware... Could be wrong tho

Yeah, me too. Just saying a possibility :)

On 2 April 2009, at the second stewards' hearing, procured their driver Hamilton to continue to assert the truth of the false statement given to the stewards on 29 March, while knowing what he was saying to the stewards was not true. In a statement issued by McLaren, and in a further attempt to try to appease the WMSC, the team have confirmed they have sacked Dave Ryan, their former sporting director. Ryan was suspended on Friday after the storm surrounding the case blew up before Sunday's Malaysian grand prix.

Nope, Ive searched and searched and can't find anywhere that states LH was aware of McL having Ferrari documents, although I can't read the official FIA findings, where did you get your information please, I'm assuming your comment is genuine rather than a 'hater' comment ?

Cristi Tab 06 December 2023 at 14:45+ 1892

It s being reported by u or it s another press story?

Evening Meneer, I haven't got a clue about what evidence was being requested although I assume it could be entirely feasible that Anthony might want the proof that Lewis was actually involved in 'Spygate' as is being reported ?!! Although the article did say it was 'reported' the usual media speil to sell some print

Meneer 06 December 2023 at 14:40+ 573

'It is being reported that Hamilton's father Anthony has already been on the phone to FIA President Max Mosley, making a similar offer concerning McLaren's latest transgressions: The Hamiltons will provide any evidence necessary to convict McLaren of wrongdoing, as long as they themselves are absolved of any guilt." Explain to me what evidence they wanted to provide if they didn't know anything. It's not a hateful comment.
