The 2024 F1 season is fast approaching, so teams are busy putting the finishing touches on the new cars. Meanwhile, several teams have announced when they will present their cars to fans and media. Aston Martin is also said to have secured a date for their launch.

It is supposed to happen on February 11, at least Motorsport.com believes. That is when the AMR24 should be shown to the world. The car is an evolution of the AMR23. That car proved extremely successful, especially at the beginning of the 2023 season, in the hands of Fernando Alonso. The Spaniard managed to capture no fewer than eight podium finishes last year.

Aston Martin want to take the next step

In 2023, Aston Martin laid hands on a brand-new factory in Silverstone and on top of that, they took on several new employees again. All to ultimately realise that one goal: to become champion in Formula 1. The first step towards that is winning Grands Prix. The AMR24 should be the first step towards that.

The date 11 February falls on a Monday, and Aston Martin thus starts a week full of launches by top teams. A day later, Ferrari will present the new car. It is planned that McLaren and Mercedes will show their new cars to the world again a day after - on 13 February - although this has not yet been confirmed.
