Christian Horner is present (in normal clothes) at the pitwall during the test in Bahrain this Wednesday. But a departure of the Red Bull Racing team boss is said to be imminent, Viaplay Finland reports. Red Bull in Austria is now said to have decided that Horner should leave.

Christian Horner has been accused of inappropriate behaviour by a Red Bull Racing employee. The British team boss has already been questioned by an independent investigator about the allegations and since then a decision on Horner's future at the race team has been awaited.

'Decision on Horner is settled' According to Mervi Kallio (journalist for Viaplay in Finland), the decision has now been made internally. The conclusion: 'Christian Horner's days at Red Bull Racing are numbered'. Kallio relied on several sources, who reported that Horner will have to leave the field. The fact that Horner is present in Bahrain after all would have to do with the fact that an agreement on the settlement of his employment has yet to be reached.

According to the journalist, the decision will come out officially within a few days. Incidentally, Horner was present in Red Bull's hospitality unit just now. He was there talking to Raymond Vermeulen, Max Verstappen's manager.
