The new deal would mean a big financial boost for the Scuderia. The annual revenue from the deal would be similar to that of the partnership between Red Bull Racing and title sponsor Oracle. It is reportedly the most lucrative sponsorship deal in F1 at the moment.
HP, a California-based computer brand, will become the Italian team's first title sponsor since 2021. Back then, the team was officially known as Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow, as part of a controversial contract with US tobacco giant Philip Morris International.
HP has a history in F1 as a sponsor of Williams from 2000 to 2005. Later, the brand also had a deal with Sauber. Hewlett Packard Enterprise also has a presence in F1 through agreements with Mercedes and Stake F1.
