Max Verstappen is ranked by many among the top-five drivers of all time. The Dutchman took his 60th victory in Formula 1 in Canada. As a result, he currently ranks third among the drivers with the most wins in the premier class. Despite that, the Red Bull driver does not list himself as one of the top-five drivers of all time.

In recent years, the Dutchman has made huge strides when it comes to the number of victories. At the end of 2020, he had just 10 wins to his name, less than 3.5 years later it is 60. Last season, Verstappen broke just about every record there is to break, labelling it as one of the seasons, if not the best season, of all time.

Verstappen does not name himself in top-five drivers

By many experts, Verstappen is now also named as one of the best drivers of all time. When DAZN asks the three-time world champion who the best five drivers of all time are, he begins, "Whatever I choose, people will comment on and not agree with."

Nevertheless, Verstappen finally dares to list his top five. Modest as he is, he does not call himself: "I would go Michael [Schumacher]. Probably Ayrton [Senna], Fernando [Alonso], Lewis [Hamilton] and Fangio."
