After a difficult Monaco Grand Prix for Esteban Ocon in which he retired after clashing with his teammate, it was announced that he would leave Alpine after the 2024 season. The French driver, therefore, has been searching for a drive elsewhere. Ocon feels positive about his Formula 1 future and stated that the talks he is having are going in the right direction.

"There are good discussions going on at the moment. I'm happy with how this is going. We will announce when the time is right. There's nothing to announce yet. But I let my management team deal with all that. And I'm very focused on what I have to do on the track this weekend," Ocon said in the paddock at the Spanish Grand Prix.

Ocon keeps quiet about his future

The 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix winner believes that the search for a new team is a complex puzzle, and therefore does not want to go into detail about his search for a new employer. "I think it's more complex than this. So I will not go into details because then you guys will create stories. But there are a lot of things to look deep inside. There are a lot of different projects all around the grids. And it's important to look well inside that to see how things are going to evolve in the future. That's what we're discussing." Ocon concluded. The Frenchman is said to have had discussions with Haas, but it is still not known where Ocon will compete in 2025.
