The young Brit is considered one of the great up-and-coming talents in motorsport: Arvid Lindblad. In Barcelona, the 16-year-old Briton convincingly won the feature race in Formula 3, in which he races as a rookie. Helmut Marko is fond of the successful Red Bull junior and Christian Horner has also been impressed by his performance. This is what Horner said about the rising star, who he is sure to keep an eye on.

Red Bull Junior Lindblad impresses senior figures

He triumphed in his debut race in F3 straight away in Bahrain, as the young Brit won the sprint race. At the Grand Prix weekend in Spain, he added a victory in the feature race. The young super talent thus proved once again why Marko is so enthusiastic about him.

Horner is also delighted with the Red Bull starlet. "Arvid did a great job to win the Formula 3 race. He's in his rookie season. He's a real talent. He's one of the brightest talents that we have in the junior program. A very talented young driver and excited about his 16 years of age. We're going to keep an eye on him for the future, for sure." Said the Red Bull Racing team boss.

Lindblad has been part of the Red Bull Junior Team since 2022. Due to the rule change recently implemented by the FIA, initially to allow an early debut of Andrea Kimi Antonelli, he could drive a free practice session in Formula 1 as early as 2025. Lindblad himself says he does not want to think about that too extensively yet. His current focus lies in his F3 performance.
