Luke Browning won the F3 feature race in Austria. The Briton kept his head most cool after an exciting battle at the front of the field. Gabriele Mini and Dino Beganovic completed the podium.

Polesitter Browning held firm at the start, which otherwise went off without any significant incidents. Swede Dino Beganovic had the best start among the top drivers, gaining three places and moving from P5 to P2.

Red Bull junior and another young British star Arvid Lindblad started the race from P2. He drove around in the front during the beginning of the race, but dropped a bit to P7 when he was tapped on his rear wheel by Alexander Dunne on lap five. The Red Bull junior was unable to recover and finished in P4.

Browning came under pressure frequently, but held on and thus won the race. Just behind, Gabriele Mini and Beganovic finished on P2 and P3.

Formula 3 Championship

This victory for Browning puts him back into the lead of the Formula 3 Championship. "This feels so good, so good," Browning said on the team radio. There are four more rounds in the F3 season, including next weekend at Silverstone. Leonardo Fornaroli led the championship ahead of the race and finished 9th after making impressive moves from 24th on the grid in Austria.
