Norris heavily criticised after the British Grand Prix

Lando Norris was quite criticised after the British Grand Prix ended. The McLaren driver managed to finish third at Silverstone, but according to many, he should have won the race. According to Ralf Schumacher, Norris is not yet at the level of Max Verstappen or Lewis Hamilton.
"No, Norris is not ready yet," Schumacher informed Sky Sports Germany. In doing so, the German stressed that McLaren also still has to make some steps too. "But that could also be down to the structure. It could be that its engineer is not strong enough. That is always a very important reference person. You notice that he is now annoyed with himself, with the wrong decisions, and that he wants to grow from that. That's part of it. It's a learning process."
If it were up to Schumacher, Norris was tactically trounced by Hamilton and Verstappen at Silverstone. "As a driver, you usually go into the race with a good idea of what the tyre is capable of. The team knows that too. You have to give yourself information. And then you as a driver can make the decision," Schumacher added.
Currently, Norris is 84 points behind Verstappen. Despite the McLaren looking much faster than the Red Bull in recent races, the Dutchman has only been outpacing him.
