Fernando Alonso was told by Aston Martin to get out of the car after Yuki Tsunoda' s red flag at the Hungaroring during qualifying. The Spaniard will start the race in Budapest in seventh place. GPblog asked the 42-year-old Formula One legend about the difficult points of the track in Hungary. Alonso explained after qualifying for Sunday's race.

Alonso on tricky points at Hungaroring

GPblog asked Alonso about the tricky points at the circuit as a reason why so many drivers went off. "I think the kerbs are difficult. Obviously, we are running extremely low with these cars, so you bottom out and you can lose the car. Kerbs were a little bit wet also in Q1, so challenging conditions and luckily I think no one was hurt and let's see tomorrow," Alonso explained.

Alonso on updates from Aston Martin

On another question, Alonso addressed the updates on Aston Martin's car. "The more laps we do, the more we learn about the package. Yesterday was very interesting, today as well and I think tomorrow in the race we will benefit a lot. I think the first two or three races when you introduce a new package are crucial to find the direction so i think the team did a very good job last night and we found performance today let's find more tomorrow."

"It's just a little bit of relief, a little bit of less pressure into the team, bringing a package to the track that works as expected and it works fine," concluded the Oviedo-based man.
