It is five to twelve for Red Bull Racing. Max Verstappen 's team seemed effortlessly heading for a third constructors' title and fourth drivers' title in a row at the start of the season, but the reality is that they no longer have the fastest car at the moment. Consequently, the competition seems to be getting closer and closer, and the constructors' title in particular is in danger.

Shocking statistic for Red Bull last seven races

In the first seven races, Verstappen managed to win five times. With this, the Dutchman took a decent advance on his fourth consecutive world title and also due to multiple podiums by Sergio Perez, there seemed to be little to worry about for Red Bull for the rest of the season. But after the Miami Grand Prix, the RB20's development went downhill. Since then, McLaren seemed to have had a faster car and managed to grab a podium every race. Due to Verstappen's overcompensation, he still won the Emilia-Romagna, Canada and Spain GPs after Miami, but now the 2024 Formula 1 season has no less than seven different winners.

In addition to McLaren, Mercedes has also found its way up. Where the Silver Arrows were nowhere to be seen in the first seven races, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell's team has entered the summer break with three wins in the last four races. Not in terms of standings but purely on speed, it seems that both McLaren and Mercedes, have surpassed Red Bull's.

Check below the comparisons in terms of teams in the last seven races:
- McLaren: 212
- Mercedes: 187
- Red Bull: 140
- Ferrari: 133
- Aston Martin: 29
