Verstappen or Larson is the better driver? Alonso responds
- Jeroen Immink
Nascar driver Kyle Larson has recently made some comments about Max Verstappen, claiming that he is a better driver than the Dutchman. A driver who has tested himself in multiple categories is Fernando Alonso. Once he arrived at Zandvoort, the experienced Spaniard responded to Larson's remarks in his unique way.
Alonso chooses third option
Once he arrived at Zandvoort, Alonso was asked what he thought of Larson's comments. "I don't know exactly what he said," the Spaniard began. Once the situation was explained, Alonso responded in his own entirely unique way. "I don't know. I think Max is quite good in GTs as well. I bet he's good in everything, but he's still not as good as me. In multiple disciplines [I'm better]. In F1, I accept that he's the same," said the 43-year-old.
Last season, Alonso stunted with Aston Martin by driving to second place in the rain. This season, his team is having many difficulties with the car. In 2024, Alonso and Aston Martin still failed to grab a podium.
