How can Colapinto get F1 super licence despite different results

Franco Colapinto is the replacement for Logan Sargeant at Williams. The Argentinian started this season in Formula 2. Although the 21-year-old is participating in Formula 2 for the first time, he has just enough points to obtain his Formula 1 super license.
A super license is a certificate issued by the FIA. With this, a driver has proven himself enough to be ready to participate in the premier class. A driver must meet various conditions to obtain such a license.
There are various ways in which a driver can collect super license points. In total, someone needs 40 points to obtain the license. The FIA has drawn up a ranking in which points for the super license are awarded per race class and the position in the championship.
How did Colapinto get his super license?
The past three consecutive years are taken into account, unless 2021 is included. In that case, the FIA looks at the three best years from the past four years. The Argentinian will receive 5 points for the Toyota Series, 12 for the Formula Renault Eurocup, 5 points for FRECA, 15 for his Formula 3 career, 1 point for the first free practice in Silverstone and 2 for a penalty-free season in 2023. This amounts to exactly 40 points, enough for an F1 super license.
