David Croft celebrated his wedding last weekend and will be on his honeymoon with his wife during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Therefore, he will miss the race. It marks his final scheduled absence of the season. Croft previously missed the Imola Grand Prix and the Austrian Grand Prix. Harry Benjamin will once again stand in for the Sky Sports commentary.

What is the Sky Sports F1 broadcast schedule for Azerbaijan?

Sky Sports F1 will broadcast every single F1 session during the 2024 Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend. This starts with Friday’s free practice 1 session. Sky Sports will go live at 10am UK time, providing a 30-minute build-up to the weekend's first practice session. 

The Sky F1 team will return at 1:45pm for a 15-minute build-up to FP2. They will continue to broadcast for 15 minutes after the chequered flag to get the early reactions from the drivers and team bosses. The F1 show is then shown from 3:15pm.

Sky Sports F1 returns on Saturday at 09:15am for a 15-minute build-up to FP3. They will continue to broadcast for 40 minutes after, allowing a little build-up for qualifying. They return at 12:15pm for a 45-minute build-up to qualifying. Sky Sports F1 will continue to broadcast until 3pm, when Ted's Notebook begins.

Sky Sports F1 returns on Sunday for the 2024 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Coverage will start at 10:30 p.m. and stay live after the race for the reactions. Ted's Notebook begins at 3pm.

Will Sky Sports F1 broadcast F2 and F3 this weekend?

Baku is not on the calendar for Formula 3. But Formula 2 will compete in the capital city. Sky Sports will broadcast all of the action from Formula 2.
