F1 Drivers Ratings Max Verstappen best Formula 1 driver in the world
4 November at 09:10

After an exceptional race in Brazil, Max Verstappen can only score a 10. The Dutchman shone and showed once again that he is the best driver in Formula 1. These are the ratings for the F1 drivers in Brazil.

Although Max Verstappen's entire weekend was not perfect, with a mistake during the virtual safety car and a below-satisfactory qualifying result, after a race like that, the Red Bull Racing star cannot be given anything but a 10. Max Verstappen overtook in the rain when no one else could. After a decade, Verstappen can still surprise and leave you staring at a race with your mouth open.

Another star of the show was Esteban Ocon. The Frenchman was already strong in qualifying in the rain before stunning even Verstappen in the race with his pace. Of course, Ocon had less to lose but his race weekend also deserves high marks.

Yet many drivers disappointed. For instance, rookies Franco Colapinto and Oliver Bearman had a very tough time in these conditions, while Liam Lawson managed to hold his own. However, experienced drivers also made mistakes. Carlos Sainz made two errors in one day.

Lance Stroll, however, made the biggest mistake. For years, people used his 2020 Turkish Grand Prix pole position as an argument that Stroll is a good driver, but he closed that argument in Brazil. After his team had worked incredibly hard to fix the car for the race, he spun on the formation lap only to find himself stuck in the gravel. The smile on his face at the interview must hurt all the hard-working people in the team.
