Here are the latest updates Red Bull and Ferrari bring to Las Vegas!
Red Bull Racing have brought another update for the RB20 to Las Vegas, unlike their big rival McLaren. Ferrari have also brought a sizable update package with them to the US, hoping to secure a good result in their quest for the constructors' title.
The Las Vegas Grand Prix in just about the last chance for F1 teams to introduce new parts this season. In a week's time there will be a sprint weekend in Qatar and the following week is already the last weekend of the season. So if you want to bring something new, you have to do it during in Las Vegas.
This is also reflected in the FIA's list of updates brought by the teams. Almost every teams - except for Williams -, brought one or more specific parts for the Las Vegas circuit. Given the nature of of the track and the low temparature, this weekend calls for the usage of track-specific parts. The front wings in particular will be changed.
Updates for Red Bull Racing
Besides a specific front wing, Red Bull Racing have also brought an update to the floor. According to the document, the floor edges have been modified to better control airflow under the car. While Mercedes and McLaren are sticking to the modified front wing, Ferrari, who are currently 36 points behind the Working-based team in the standings, have brought three new parts over to the US. These are three parts that should make up a completely redesigned floor of the two SF-24s.
In terms ofg rest of the grid, major update packages are introduced for Visa Cash App RB and Stake. VCARB have modified the engine cover, the rear suspension and the mirrors, whereas Stake F1 have brought a new floor and diffuser fighting for their first points this season.
