After their miserable weekend in Brazil where they finished P4 and P10, Mercedes bounced back in style and completed a comfortable 1-2 victory in Las Vegas. George Russell won his third
Formula 1 race with ease, finishing seven seconds ahead of Hamilton.
Max Verstappen, despite only finishing fifth, secured his fourth consecutive world title in comfortable style, as Norris and
McLaren struggled to make any impact on the Red Bull.
Ferrari made a late charge past Verstappen to secure P3 and P4, with Carlos Sainz on the final podium places. McLaren had a difficult weekend, as Norris only managed to finish sixth but took the fastest lap as McLaren look to still secure the World Constructor's Championship.
Piastri finished seventh, with Hulkenberg P8, Tsunoda P9 and
Sergio Perez rounding out the points.
