Lewis Hamilton has been warned. Max Verstappen has four world titles to his name since the Las Vegas GP weekend, leaving him 'only' three behind Hamilton. Although Verstappen always reiterates not thinking about the record books, he does hope to add several more titles to his total, the Dutchman revealed in Las Vegas.

Verstappen knows that it takes more than just talent to make it into Formula One and then on to win a world championship title. "You need to have that momentum as well," Verstappen says. "You need to have the right team to be able to achieve that for a long period of time. It's not something that I set out to do. Of course, if it happens, it happens".

Verstappen says that he is happy to have won the championship four times already when he answered "I'm, of course, already very proud to win four. I mean, at the end of the day, winning one or seven, it's the same thing, right? But of course, if you can repeat it a few times, that is very nice. And of course, I know that if we have that opportunity again, even with not the fastest car, we still want it. So I always know that when I sit in the car, I'm going to give it everything I have.

Verstappen is looking forward to 2025

Verstappen is one of the most dominant Formula One drivers to join the grid in the past decade. He acknowledged his age and talked about his growth. "Of course, over the last few years, I also grew as a driver, and you definitely become more all around. So in a way, of course, also very excited to see what we can do next year. It's very unknown at the moment, of course, how competitive we are going to be, but for now, I'm just going to enjoy the moment".
