Here at GPBlog, we want to wish everyone a happy, healthy and sporty 2025! Read what our highlights of 2024 were and what we have planned for 2025!

On the English edition of GPblog.com alone, we produced more than 10,000 stories. With several different editions, we reached fans all over the world. The 2024 Formula 1 season started very early in the year and featured extreme highs and lows. Lewis Hamilton broke open the gates early with his bombshell switch to Ferrari in 2025. Next came the controversies surrounding Christian Horner

The on-track excitement also kept us pretty busy this year. While at the beginning, Max Verstappen looked set to breeze into another world title, but that did not happen. Instead, he ended up facing some competition from Lando Norris. The McLaren driver made things difficult for Verstappen for most of the second half of the season, but the Dutchman eventually won his fourth consecutive world title. McLaren also beat Red Bull Racing and Ferrari to win their first constructors title in 26 years.

GPblog's plans for 2025

In 2024, GPblog took another big step to improve our content across all platforms for our readers. The most important step we took was to visit more Grands Prix, which we wanted to do to provide better Formula 1 coverage, including the action happening off the track.

While we covered many topics, one of the biggest was that GPBlog was close by when things erupted with Red Bull Racing in Bahrain. The team was also present in Las Vegas when Max Verstappen won his world title. Another huge milestone we hit was that with the number of races we attended this year, we can now call ourselves permanently accredited with the FIA for 2025. Joining a select media club that can visit all races on a permanent basis.

''I am immensely proud of the commitment of the entire team at GPblog.com in 2024. We had set ourselves the goal of becoming permanent on the paddock by 2025, and we succeeded. A huge step for the team and a great opportunity to provide our loyal users with even better stories'' said editor-in-chief of GPblog.com, Tim Kraaij.
