Racing Bulls poke fun at Hamilton's first day at Ferrari: 'To never forget'
- Ludo van Denderen
No Formula 1 fan has undoubtedly missed it: Lewis Hamilton has his first day at Ferrari. Several posts and pictures of this have already come out via his own social media channels and those of his new employer. Apparently, this inspired Racing Bulls, as they decided to highlight their new driver Isack Hadjar with their own variation on the Hamilton posts.
Just as a dream has come true for Hamilton, the same is certainly true for Hadjar. The youngster is gaining promotion from Formula 2 to take a seat in Racing Bulls' second car next season, as Yuki Tsunoda's teammate. No doubt, the French-Algerian has also started preparations for the new season, and may also have been with his team this Monday in Italy.
Hadjar and RB mock Hamilton and Ferrari
In any case, Racing Bulls posted a picture on Instagram, accompanied by a short text: "There are some days that you know you'll remember forever and today, is one of those days," it reads. No doubt not entirely coincidentally, Hamilton wrote the exact same thing earlier in the day accompanying a first photo of himself at Ferrari.
Anyone looking closely at Hadjar's photo will see another similarity. Namely, how about that big, black coat the Frenchman has hanging around his shoulders. That is a direct reference to the photo of Hamilton, as released by Ferrari. Apparently, Hadhar could not find a real black jacket, because it is clear that the garment has been photoshopped onto his shoulders.
