Mercedes to launch W16, New Ferrari kit, and new Redbull Partnership

As the winter break comes closer to an end, the drivers are returning to their team's home base, teams are announcing their car reveals, and partnerships are being announced. The season will be starting soon, but the teams have been working hard behind the scenes. 

Mercedes announces car launch 

Today, the Mercedes AMG F1 team announced when they would show off their 2025 season F1 car for the first time. While the team will be at the F1 75 event with the other nine Formula 1 teams, they will only reveal the livery. Sharing via their social media platforms, the team will give their first look at the W16. This will happen on Monday, February 24, only one day before they take to the circuit to complete a filming day. After that, they will go straight into the pre-season testing. 

Ferrari suits up 

Ferrari has officially released their first photos of their 2025 duo '1644'. They shared photos and videos of the teammates in their new F1 red Ferrari suits. After waiting over a year for Lewis Hamilton to join Charles Leclerc at Ferrari, fans finally got a glimpse of the two together.  

 Red Bull Racing's New partnership 

Red Bull Racing has announced a new partnership with Maui Jim. This new Red Bull Racing partnership comes with some shade as Maui Jim is a sunglasses brand that will be supplying Red Bull Racing drivers, such as Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson, with sunglasses during their multi-year contract with the team. CEO and team principal of Red Bull Racing Christian Horner said, "We are very excited to announce our partnership with Maui Jim, a brand that shares our commitment to developing cutting-edge technology and delivering performance". Roberto Vedovotto, CEO of Kering Eyewear, said, "Both brands share an uncompromising dedication to precision and redefining standards—whether it’s on the Formula 1 track or in the design and technology behind our eyewear."
