Antonelli looking for a message from Hamilton: 'So nice of him'

Andrea Kimi Antonelli will have the tough task of following in the footsteps of one of F1's greatest ever drivers. The Italian even understands that Lewis Hamilton has left a special message for him in the Mercedes truck. But where is it? He will be searching!
In 2024, Antonelli and Hamilton were still working together at Mercedes. The former looks back on that time with satisfaction and appreciates how kind Hamilton has been to him. What did the Briton say to Antonelli? "He's been just telling me, to do my best and not worry about the rest."
According to Antonelli, there is even a message waiting for him in Mercedes' truck. "So I'm really looking to find it. Yeah, in the driver's room. So I'm really looking forward to reading it. It was extremely kind of him."
Antonelli finds Hamilton to be a 'great person'
And to be racing against the Briton is something Antonelli finds special. "I still, to be honest, can't believe I'm going to be sharing the grid with him next year. He's such a great figure in the sport and has achieved so much. So I'm really happy for the opportunity I'm getting."
In any case, the Italian is working with Mercedes to prepare as well as possible for their first joint season in Formula 1. Leading the way physically, the 18-year-old Italian is trying to get stronger.
"Mainly because the race is going to last way longer to what I was used to before. So definitely, also on the physical side, it was important to be ready and to prepare the best way possible," he concluded to Sky Sports.
