verstappen wants to do a more solid job with red bull in 2025

Verstappen expects 'more solid job' from Red Bull in 2025

Max Verstappen is looking to bring home his fifth drivers' world title in a row: something that has been done only once before in Formula One's history, by Michael Schumacher, as the German was undefeated in every season from 2000 until 2004. After the way the 2024 season ended, the Dutchman might not be biggest favourite to take the crown, although he would not mind to complete a so-called 'upset'.

While the Dutchman could dominate early on in the '24 season similarly to 2023, Ferrari and McLaren could improve massively over the course of the previous season, and Mercedes could also have a winning machinery at certain events. Verstappen also often voiced his issues with the RB20. Red Bull ended up finishing third in the constructors' standings.

Still, Verstappen was crowned world champion at the Las Vegas GP after defeating Lando Norris in the title battle. Revisiting the previous season at the ORBR Brand Shoot, the Dutchman looked backed on the previous season. "I think the beautiful thing was that every championship that I have won, has been won in a different way. Of course, last year was definitely a challenging one. We had a great start to the year and then a bit of a tough time."

'More solid job' expected by Verstappen

However, the Dutchman also sees the upside of how the previous year ended. Verstappen is positive ahead of the season, he hopes to capitalise on the tougher periods from the previous year. "We had our up and down moments, but that can happen in Formula 1. It’s about what we learn from it and hopefully this year, with what we have learned last year, we can do a more solid job," he concluded.
