The 2025 season is about to begin. After the three-day test in Bahrain, it is time for the Australian Grand Prix next week. Indy Dontje, Viaplay's newest recruit, sees that it does not bode well for Max Verstappen in 2025.

During a Viaplay event at Zandvoort, which GPblog attended, Dontje was asked for his predictions for the upcoming season. "I think what is very cool is that we are going to see a lot of teams together, close together in qualifying. And that there are very small differences between the cars," he began.

"We are talking about a few tenths, so there are a lot of characteristics in the car that are important for the drivers," the new Viaplay analyst continued.

'Verstappen is going to have a tough time'

Then the two-time Le Mans winner was the beared of ill news for Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing fans the world over. "I think maybe we're going to see a difficult time for Max Verstappen," he said.

Still, Dontje is looking forward to the new season with great excitement. "But yes, I think it will just be a very fun season, because the regulations are the same. And that does make it a lot of fun to watch the whole season," concluded the Viaplay analyst.
