As the drivers touch down in Melbourne and the teams get unpacked, more Formula 1 news is announced. Just like Oscar Piastri’s contract extension yesterday, another team made an exciting announcement. Sky Sports will continue their F1 coverage this year and they have released their 2025 lineup. Speaking of lineup and champions, Sebastian Vettel has words for Lewis Hamilton.

Wheatley to start at Sauber

Last season it was announced that former Red Bull Racing sporting director, Jonathan Wheatley, would be leaving the team. The Briton had decided to move into a new role at a new team; Sauber. As the Swiss team works towards becoming Audi, they have begun to expand their team, which has led Wheatley to join them as their new team principal on 1 April. After taking a ‘gardening leave’, Wheatley will join the team just in time to debut his new role at the Japanese Grand Prix

Vettel warns Hamilton

Sebastian Vettel has words for Lewis Hamilton. Vettel was once a world champion trying to win with Ferrari. Vettel won four titles in a row with Red Bull Racing, but following in his hero Michael Schumacher's footsteps he decided to make the move to the iconic red team. Unfortunately, his time at the Scuderia would prove to be unsuccessful, as his tenure at the Italian team failed to yield any titles.

On Hamilton’s move to Ferrari, Vettel thought it was a big change, but he warned Hamilton about his teammate Charles Leclerc. He said, "He's been there all the way through, so they are hardly going to dump him for Lewis. I'm not saying Lewis isn't possible, just that they will not stop looking after and hoping Leclerc's going to get the job done."
