F1 presents new opening video for Grands Prix in 2025

Formula 1 has released the 2025 version of the driver introduction video that serves as the official opening for all sessions next season, airing on television and international streaming platforms with Formula 1 broadcasting rights. 

There will be plenty of new faces in Formula 1 next season, all also making their debut in the official opening sequence. Gabriel Bortoleto, Isack Hadjar, Jack Doohan, and Oliver Bearman will appear for the first time—of course, set to the iconic F1 theme. As in previous years, Max Verstappen is the final driver to appear on screen as the reigning world champion. In the video, fans can catch a glimpse of Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari, Carlos Sainz at Williams, Liam Lawson at Red Bull and other notable drivers sporting different racesuits in 2025. European fans have an early start for the season-opening Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. Track action begins with the first free practice session on Friday in the early hours at 01:30 GMT. The second follows at 05:00, and the third and final practice takes place on Saturday morning at 01:30 once again. The first qualifying session takes place at 05:00 before the opening race follows suit at 04:00 on Sunday morning. All the action from Albert Park will be covered here on GPblog.
