Proud Horner wildly enthusiastic about Verstappen after sprint qualifying China
F1 News

Christian Horner is happy with the sprint qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix, in which Max Verstappen finished second. The Dutchman made the most of his Formula 1 car, but fell 18 thousandths short of Lewis Hamilton's pole position time. A satisfied Red Bull Racing team boss stands at Viaplay.
Horner proud of Verstappen in China
"To be 0.018 seconds from pole position, just behind Lewis [Hamilton] is phenomenal. I didn't expect to be on the front row, particularly with two McLarens behind us, so that was a very big performance by Max. Of course the points are tomorrow, but [it was] a good recovery from this morning," Horner told Viaplay after qualifying for the sprint race.
Horner reacts to Lawson's qualifying
Liam Lawson's qualifying in China did not go as planned as the New Zealander took P20 in the final results. On the youngster's performance Horner said the following:
"His first lap was okay and that put him you know at that point in the top 10. Unfortunately he didn't go with the track you know, he wasn't able to get the tyres cool enough on that on that slow down lap so and when it's so close it bites you pretty hard so a shame for him but he'll be stronger tomorrow. It just shows how how close the field is. He'll brush himself down and tomorrow's another day.."
