The FIA stewards have stayed busy this afternoon with decisions regarding the Chinese Grand Prix. Three decisions regarding practice start infringements have come out, while two drivers' cars have been submitted for being underweight.

Three drivers face disqualification

Lewis Hamilton is facing a race disqualification for the skid wear on his car. The thickness of the rearmost skid was found to be under the 9mm minimum thickness and has now been referred to the FIA stewards. He will appear before them at 19:15 local time.

The technical delegates' report revealed that Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly's cars were underweight after the conclusion of the Chinese Grand Prix. Car #16 and #10 have been referred to the stewards. Their final weights were 799.0 kgs, 1.0 under the limit.

During the Chinese Grand Prix, Leclerc drove with a broken front wing the entire race. After bumping into Lewis Hamilton, his left endplate broke off. Ultimately, the team decided not to change the front left, and Leclerc ended the race in 5th place.

Both Leclerc and Gasly are looking at a disqualification due to their cars being underweight.

Other FIA decisions made

The FIA has also released decisions for the three drivers who face a practice start infringement. Cars #5 (Gabriel Bortoleto), #22 (Yuki Tsunoda), and #27 (Nico Hulkenberg) have all been given a warning.

Another decision that was made by the FIA stewards was regarding rookie Jack Doohan and his on-track actions. Doohan received a 10-second penalty and 2 penalty points for pushing Isack Hadjar off track during the Chinese Grand Prix.
