Hamilton: "It still feels like the first time" after he wins SIXTH British GP!
Lewis Hamilton says that the feeling of winning his home race does not get old after he came home P1 to win the British Grand Prix for the sixth time.
After running P2 early in the race, the Brit took advantage of the safety car caused by Antonio Giovinazzi's spin, pitting to come out of the pitlane ahead of his teammate Valtteri Bottas, and he never looked back, taking the win and the bonus point for fastest lap.
After the race he told his ex-teammate Jenson Button on Sky Sports: "I can't tell you how proud I am to be here.
"You think you'd get used to something like that, but it feels like the first time.
"I couldn't have done it without these guys [the fans] and my team. Everyone back at the factory and everyone is supportive of them.
"I value them massively and super proud to be a part of this."
