Bottas despondent following British Grand Prix
Valtteri Bottas has vowed to keep on fighting insisting the World Championship race isn't over after he finished second after a safety car hampered his race.
Lewis Hamilton benefitted from the safety car caused by Antonio Giovinazzi to win the British Grand Prix. The Brit pitted to the hard tyres, however, his teammate Valtteri Bottas lost the lead of the race as the Brit came out in front of him
Hamilton would not relinquish his position and won a sixth race at Silverstone and a late pit stop was not enough to give the Finn the fastest lap. A despondent Bottas admitted after the race, it wasn't his day.
"Not really my day, but at least the pace was good and I felt good out there," Bottas told Sky after the race.
Despite seeming down after the race the Finn was adamant the championship is far from over, adding; "I will keep fighting, it's not over yet."
