Leclerc says British GP the most enjoyable of his career after yet another podium!
Charles Leclerc said that the British Grand Prix was the most enjoyable of his career so far after he finished on the podium for the fourth race in a row.
Leclerc had an action filled race, defending fiercely from Max Verstappen in the early part of the race before losing out in the pit stop window as his rivals pitted under the safety car a lap before he did.
The advantage was returned to him following a battle with Pierre Gasly and the crash between Verstappen and teammate Sebastian Vettel, leading to him eventually coming home in third, behind the two Mercedes drivers.
The Monegasque told Sky Sports' Jenson Button after the race: "It's probably the race I enjoyed most in my F1 career.
"I'm very happy to finish third and for the battles on track.
"I think the last race was an eye opener for me showing me how far we can go and it's great for F1 to fight on the limit in that way and I'm happy that this race has gone that way."
