Valtteri Bottas wins Paul Ricard rally!
Valtteri Bottas has won a rally race at Paul Ricard as he gets stuck into the sport once again during F1's off-season. Being from Finland, rallying is in Bottas' blood and he enjoyed his first victory in France.
Driving a Citroen DS3 WRC, Bottas set the quickest time in five of the nine stages, fighting off the challenge from four other drivers with WRC-spec cars.
Bottas dominated the event finishing 50 seconds ahead of the Skoda Fabia RS, driven by Robert Consani.
The Mercedes man won four races this season as he finished second in the drivers' standings, and is looking to beat Lewis Hamilton to the title next season.
