Gasly reflects on finding out news of move down to Toro Rosso

The 2019 season hasn't long finished and it was one which was a very tough one for Pierre Gasly. Midway through the season, he lost his seat at Aston Martin Red Bull Racing to Alex Albon who had been promoted from Toro Rosso.
Despite this, he did end the season with a podium to his name at the Brazillian Grand Prix.
“When I heard the news, I was upset because I thought it was an unreasonable decision," Gasly said in a conversation with L 'Equipe.
"I was frustrated with the six months at Red Bull. I only achieved 80 per cent of my potential, but I didn't get the means to do it better.
"I then decided to turn the frustration into positive energy and come back. I mainly wanted to do the word on the road.
The Frenchman ended the season in 7th in the drivers' standings, just a point behind Carlos Sainz.
