Leclerc: "My girlfriend had to get a Twitch subscription to get in touch"

Charles Leclerc is busy sim racing these days. So busy even that his girlfriend had to subscribe to his Twitch channel to get in touch with the Monegask.
A number of Formula 1 drivers are known to love sim racing. Lando Norris and Max Verstappen even raced in a simrace just after they returned from a real Grand Prix. However, Charles Leclerc has turned out to be a real streamer since the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The Monegask can often be found on Twitch and participates in just about every Formula 1 sim race that is organised. Not everyone is as happy with that however, like Leclerc's girlfriend. "She had to take a Twitch subscription to get in touch with me," the driver of Ferrari says on Twitter.
Distracted by the race
"She could ask in the group chat if I could open the front door for her. She had been waiting in front of the door for 25 minutes, because I couldn't hear my phone. I had my headphones on and was very focused on the race," Leclerc said in defense.
The driver won't get much income from his girlfriend either. Disappointed, Leclerc says that his other half only took a subscription for one month on the Twitch channel of the Ferrari driver.
