Formula 1 can officially start again now that the calendar for 2020 has been presented. The start of the season consists of two Grand Prix of Austria, on the Red Bull Ring. That certainly makes the lead at Red Bull Racing proud.
''We look forward to this unique challenge in the history of Formula 1. It will be great to do two races on the same circuit and Spielberg always makes for fascinating races. It will be a unique opportunity to show Austria to the whole world," said Dietrich Mateschitz in the Red Bull statement.
Red Bull goes for profit
Not only is it a great opportunity for Red Bull, but also for Christian Horner's racing team. With Max Verstappen, Red Bull has one of the big favourites on the world title this year and with two stages in Austria there is an advantage for Red Bull. The last two years Verstappen managed to win there.
''Red Bull has done everything in its power to get the Austrian Grand Prix off the ground and guarantee a safe start to the F1 season. It's a great event and it's great to start the championship at home. With the first eight races now fixed, we hope to create momentum to be able to continue sport'', concludes Horner.
