Formula 2 and Formula 3 provide a packed racing schedule from July onwards!
- GPblog.com
The Formula 1 calendar is known and that is not the only racing class that will start again in Europe. At the same time as Formula 1, Formula 2 and Formula 3 are racing again in Europe.
Where Formula 2 and Formula 3 usually have a smaller variant of the calendar that is presented to the F1 teams, but that is not the case now. The teams want to start racing again and that is clear, because the Formula 2 and the Formula 3 teams will already finish eight races in the first ten weeks, just like Formula 1.
Even more races
In fact, Formula 2 and Formula 3 have exactly the same calendar as Formula 1. This way, travelling is of course limited, but it is questionable to what extent this will get in each other's way. For example, there are still more people on the paddock than the number of people per F1 team.
However, this will be taken into account in the form of different times for the different races, qualifications and training sessions. For racing fans, however, this is good news, because not only do we have a Formula 1 race almost every weekend, but we can also expect numerous races every weekend in addition to F1.
