Fisichella doesn't predict much difference: 'As a driver you're not doing that'

Giancarlo Fisichella is not worried about the races without an audience. Of course it will be different for the drivers and the teams, but for Formula 1 it is now especially important to finally start again.
''There's bound to be a bit of a lack of atmosphere, but the most important thing now is to get started. I certainly don't think that two equal races will always be won by the same driver," said Fisichella in conversation with Italian Radio1. The former driver of Benetton and Jordan, among others, doesn't worry about the races.
The driver doesn't notice anything
''For a driver, not much changes, because you're just focused on the racing itself and then you can't miss a thing. It is now just important that the F1 can start, so that the calendar can take more shape and you also have an example for the other races you want to have on the calendar'', concludes Fisichella.
For the time being there are eight races on the 2020 Formula 1 calendar and they will all be held in Europe. Formula 1 still wants to go to other continents, but the developments surrounding the coronavirus are still causing difficulties there. How far the calendar will be completed is unknown for now.
