"Verstappen and Albon get into old AlphaTauri so you can test it anyway'

On Thursday Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon will be in action at Silverstone with a Red Bull Racing car, but according to Kees van de Grint it could also be possible that both of them will test it again in a car of AlphaTauri.
Red Bull, like McLaren, has a problem. Testing is no longer allowed in Formula 1 and so you have to make do with your 100 kilometer film day or test with a car two years old. However, the car of two years ago at McLaren and Red Bull had a different engine in the car, so it can no longer be started.
Get back to AlphaTauri
As a result, Verstappen has to make do with karts, Formula 3 cars and a test drive of 100 kilometres during a filming day. However, during the broadcast of Slipstream at RTL GP, Van de Grint announced that Verstappen and Albon have another option, at the smaller race stables.
''Testing doesn't have such a big function, but I understand that Verstappen and Albon are getting into the AlphaTauri for testing. They've been riding with Honda for quite some time now, so they can take an older model from it'', says Bridgestone's former tyre specialist. Whether this will actually happen is still uncertain for the time being.
