Sebastian Vettel has been linked a lot in recent days to a return to Red Bull Racing. The lead at Red Bull still denies it in all keys, but Vettel himself would like it and reportedly Dietrich Mateschitz wants it too.

Red Bull's big boss was at his happiest between 2010 and 2013, when his Formula 1 team won four world titles in a row with Sebastian. Now that the German has to leave at Ferrari and no other chance seems the get in Formula 1, it is not surprising that he is considering retrieving him. However, Helmut Marko maintains that there is no place for the German.

The prodigal son

''In the end it's Mateschitz's decision," says Frans Tost in conversation with Racefans.net. The team boss of AlphaTauri now has two reasonably experienced drivers, where he normally had to do with young talents. Those talents are ready again, but whether they already have a chance at Formula 1 is not certain.

In Formula 2 Jehan Daruvala and Yuki Tsunoda are driving, but they just managed to make a real impression in Austria. Who knew how to impress them was the young New Zealander, Liam Lawson. He won the sprint race in Formula 3, while at 18 he is one of the youngest on the grid.

''There are a few drivers in Formula 2, Formula 3 and Super Formula. However, it's still too early to say who would move on to Formula 1''. Whether Vettel could play a role in training young talent, according to Tost, has not yet been discussed.
