The drivers are ready and the cars are ready for qualifying, but so far the chances are higher that there will be no qualifying today. Christian Horner, team boss of Red Bull Racing, doesn't expect to qualify on the Red Bull Ring today.

"It's really coming out of the sky now. It was an inevitable decision to delay qualifying," Horner explains at Sky Sports F1. "It doesn't look like there's going to be a dry spell. It could just take a while". Horner doesn't expect laps to be driven on the wet track today, but when laps will be driven, the focus will be on a race setup.

Advantage in qualifying, disadvantage in the race

"You have to look at the whole picture. It's not just about qualifying, because the race is important. If you put too much downforce on your car, you have an advantage in qualifying now, but you lose a lot in the race. So now you're going to have that discussion and everyone is going to have a different approach with their drivers," Horner explains.

Whether there will actually be qualifying today is still unclear. Follow the live blog here to stay up to date with the latest developments.
