Tost: "This dominance is not good for F1"

Mercedes was convincingly the fastest in Formula 1 in the first three Grands Prix of the year and the cautious expectation is that it will remain so in the coming weeks. At AlphaTauri they at least hope that Red Bull Racing can win a few more races in 2020.
"It's not so good for Formula 1 that Mercedes is so dominant", Franz Tost visits ServusTV Monday night. The AlphaTauri team boss hopes that Red Bull will be able to close the gap towards the world champion during the season. "I hope Max Verstappen can win a few races with Red Bull and Honda. But it will be difficult because Mercedes has become even stronger".
AlphaTauri says nothing to Kyvat
At the Austrian television station Tost also discusses the incident of Daniil Kvyat in the Hungarian Grand Prix last weekend. The Russian driver tried to get in touch with his team several times during the formation lap, but an answer from the pit wall was lacking. Kvyat didn't seem to understand, but on Sunday evening it became clear why the murmur remained on the other side of the line.
The drivers of Haas F1 both received a time penalty of ten seconds for the use of electronic aids during the warm-up lap. "It is not allowed to talk to the drivers at that time and give such information. We didn't do that either", Tost explains the situation.
