Perez denies rumors: ''I've abided by FIA guidelines''

Sergio Perez will not be able to participate in the Grand Prix of Great Britain this weekend and will probably also the next GP perhaps by a positive test on the coronavirus. Logically, the Mexican is very disappointed.
Great disappointment
''I'm extremely disappointed and this may be the worst day of my life. I knew I had a top car and the team did a lot of work to be able to perform well here. It's a shame that this happened'', Perez said in a video on Twitter. The Mexican himself claims to have followed all the protocols.
''It just shows how vulnerable we are to this virus. I've followed all FIA guidelines. I visited my mother after she had an accident and got approval for it. Then I flew back to Europe where I also followed all the guidelines'', says the driver of Racing Point.
Perez denies
However, earlier reports made it clear that this was not the case. Social media already leaked that Perez was in Mexico and out of his bubble. Not only was he with his mother, but he also sat in public restaurants with other family members and friends and allegedly even took a picture with a fan.
However, Perez doesn't mention anything about this in the video. ''I had no symptoms at all. It's all very annoying, but I'll come back stronger from this. Thanks for all the support'', concludes the Mexican who in all likelihood will be replaced by Nico Hulkenberg.
