Fans welcome back to Russia: ''Interesting to see fans in the stands again''

The Russian Grand Prix is on the 2020 Formula 1 calendar and could be the first race with an audience. Danill Kvyat cannot wait to welcome public again, especially if fans return in his own country.
"It's great to have some people around us again. I'm assuming of course that everything has been taken care of, so it's safe for everyone on the track," said Kvyat as quoted by Racefans.net. The driver from Russia could use some support.
F1 fans to the track?
Russia is not the only country trying to get fans back on the track. In addition to sales for the GP of Russia, Portugal is also in the process of admitting people to the Portimao circuit. Earlier it already became clear that there is room for 50,000 people at Portimao, where normally almost 100,000 people can enter the circuit.
''It will be very interesting to suddenly have fans on the circuit again, because we have been doing it for quite a long time now without people in the stands. I'm looking forward to it and a home race is always a privilege for a driver."
