Problems of Ferrari
"As for what went wrong, I say we never got the total package until the end to really fight for a world championship", says Vettel to the Italian branch of Motorsport.com. "But there is no reason that determined everything, there are several."
Vettel is asked if he has any advice for the team that seems to be in a lot of trouble at the moment. "I think he does. And I think I have expressed my opinion in recent years. It's also likely that we don't have the same opinion about some things. But my role is clear: I drive the car and I try to stimulate development."
Looking back on a good time
The German driver says he has always done his stinking best to push the team in the right direction. He also says he enjoyed his time at Ferrari. "Like all stories, there's a beginning and an end, but as I said, I don't have any bad feelings or regrets, and I get the same impression from the team."
"I am a big fan of this brand, it has always been my dream to drive for Ferrari. Ferrari and I had the privilege of making this happen. But now I can't wait for the future, whatever it may bring", concludes the four-time world champion.
